Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

I first met Jack back in 1990 when he worked at Radio Shack at Bradlees Plaza. We instantly liked each other. After introductions, we discussed our musical backgrounds and tossed around the idea of possibly putting a group together. So in 1991, we put together the "FULL HOUSE BAND" consisting of drummer, Steve 'Rink' Adams, Manning South Carolina's Jerry Wood, (R.I.P.) Jack playing bass and myself on guitar. We played Top 40 Country and were quite popular with line dance clubs in both Massachusetts and New York. Fast forward 20-something years later and I started Jack on the road to playing nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Most of the time we had good fun playing together as a group but we always expressed concern about his health as he was not well but struggled through the gigs that were booked. I miss him a lot and we always kept each other amused by phone even after we moved away. He is sorrowfully missed and he is now pain free. "Rest easy old friend...we'll take it from here".

My deepest condolences to Jack's family. I'm lucky to have had the chance to play a ton of music with Jack. We didn't always agree on some things, but we always stayed friends. On Dec. 4th, I gave Jack a call as it had been quite a while since we talked last. We busted on each other, as usual. Same 'ol Jack. I'm so glad I called him. At least I don't have that "coulda, woulda, shoulda," feeling. We never know how many Christmases we have left. Rest in peace my friend and rock on!
