Carrie Perrier Brown, 59

ADAMS, Mass. —  Carrie (Perrier) Brown, 59, of Adams, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at her home, with her family by her side. She was born in Adams on November 17, 1961, a daughter of the late Louis and Marion (Griswold) Perrier. She graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the Class of 1979, and then graduated from the C.H. McCann Technical School LPN Program, graduated from Berkshire Community College with a degree in Environmental Science, and graduated from the Greenfield Community College Paramedic Program. Carrie worked as a nurse for Dr. Chi Zhang for the past 14 years. She also worked for Berkshire Health Systems COVID -19 Hotline from March thru August 2020. Earlier, she worked as a nurse for the former Comp Care and its successor, the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire, and had worked as a Paramedic at Adams Ambulance Service for several years. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II in Adams, and was a former member of the Adams Lions Club. She is survived by her husband, Andrew S. Brown, whom she married on May 23, 1992; two daughters, Jaymie Butler Taylor and her husband, Robert, of Las Vegas, NV, and Bethany Gilani and her husband, Sameer, of Pittsfield; two sisters, Linda Gwozdz of Cheshire, and Barbara Solomon and her husband, Richard, of Adams; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and James Perrier; and by three sisters, Mary Lou Rodovick, Phyllis LaRocque and Shirley Comeau. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 8th, at 11:00 AM in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, are Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. Due to current regulations, use of face masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced at the funeral home and cemetery. Because of current state public gathering rules, admittance to the funeral home may take a bit longer than usual, so we ask for your patience if attending the visitation.
