Ralph W. Sweeney, Jr., 66

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Ralph William Sweeney, Jr. passed away peacefully at Berkshire Medical Center on Friday, April 16th, at the age of 66, surrounded by his loving family members.

was born on June 10, 1954, in North Adams, MA, the son of the late Ralph Sweeney and Mildred (Record) Sweeney. was the beloved husband to Nancy Killackey and will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Richard Sweeney of New Hope, PA, and his children Tina M. Lamarre and her husband Christopher; Nicole L Dech and her husband Damian and by his son Adam W. Sweeney, and by his daughter, Skye Sweeney. also leaves his 3 stepchildren, Aaron Wood, Reshawna Maine and her husband Zach, as well as Anthony Killackey and his wife Carol. was predeceased by his brother Edwin Record and his sister Myrna Marsh.

was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed hiking Mount Greylock. ’s greatest accomplishment was being a loving and caring member to his family. He always took care of others without judgement. His compassion, humility, joy and humor were qualities his family will always remember.

At his request, there will be no calling hours or services. A Private Ceremony will be held at a later date. To honor the memory of Ralph W. Sweeney, Jr, memorial donations may be made to Friendship Center Food Pantry, P.O. Box 626, North Adams, MA 01247.

The PACIOREK Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

Today a Really Special Person has gone home to God House i ave a life time of so many memories i could never list them All Ralf was my childhood Friend more like My Close Family his mom and my Mom had the same first name and were Best Friends for there Whole life as we are i am saddened to here of the lost and will be missed and will Always remember him with much Happiness and love in my Heart i send my Deep sympathy for Tina Richard and All The Family Members may God Help you and give you Peace for Healing Healthy Hearts
