Thomas Llyod Bullett Jr.,87

Thomas Lloyd Bullett, Jr., 87, of North Adams died on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Vermont Veterans Home, Bennington, VT.

Lloyd was born in North Adams on December 1, 1933 a son of the late Thomas & Ruth (Brown) Bullett. Lloyd was a graduate of Drury High School, where he was a standout baseball player. He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Lloyd was employed for over thirty years as a lineman for New England Telephone. After his retirement he was employed by Williams College in the buildings & grounds department. Lloyd studied the Civil War extensively and spent many years collecting civil war authentic badges, ribbons letters soldiers had written and many books. One of Lloyd’s proudest moments was serving under John McCain Sr. While in the Navy who he thought was a true leader and gentlemen. Lloyd enjoyed traveling throughout the world with his wife, building and flying model airplanes, skeet shooting, fishing and hunting, hiking and most importantly spending time with his family.

married Phyllis Marie (Sanquinet) Bullett on November 14, 1953; they were married for 63 years, until her passing on Aug. 23, 2017. Together, they were blessed with three children; Linda Grande (Steve) of Williamstown, Bonnie Cunningham (Jim) and Chuck Bullett (Jacklyn) of Stamford, VT. He also leaves 6 Grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as “Pop”, Tyler and Brad Mason; Katlyn Cunningham Losier, Lisa Cunningham Lamb, Meagan Bullett Boren and Michael Bullett, 3 great grandchildren, Connor, Molly Losier and Reece Lamb; one brother Douglas Bullett of Richmond, Virginia and one sister Nola Carli of North Adams, MA.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral to celebrate the life of Lloyd Bullett will be on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will be from 9-10 am at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Memoial donations are suggested for Pop Cares P.O.
