Bruce Pecor,62

Bruce Wayne Pecor 62, of Adams entered into eternal rest Saturday May 8, 2021 at his home. He was born in Pittsfield on April 30, 1959 son of Jean (Maynard) Pecor and the late Wesley E. Pecor who gave Bruce his childhood nickname "Peanuts". Bruce graduated from Mt. Greylock Regional High School with the class of 1977. He then went on to attend, Clark University in Worcester, MA. Bruce had many hobbies one of which was crossword puzzles. He absolutely loved doing them thus making him the king of scrabble on game night and unbeatable. His love of words extended to his writing journals which date back to childhood. Bruce wanted to one day write a book. Bruce also loved collecting unique stones and driftwood. He would set them up in aquariums and could tell you the story behind each one right down to where he found it and what happened that day. Through this love of nature he became an accomplished stone mason and built several stone walls that still stand today. Bruce was also a master carpenter and worked locally since his teenage years, he started out working and learning from his father then went out on his own. Bruce also loved to camp and his favorite spot was behind his brother's Wes home down by the brook. He leaves his mother Jean Pecor of Williamstown, his four children Barney Pecor of Johnsonville, NY. Sarah Pecor of Adams, MA Brock and Bart Pecor both of North Adams, MA. His former wife Lynn Harrington-Pecor, his grandson Justin Restino, the light of his life, sister Cindy (Pecor) Schneider of Williamstown and brother Wesley E. Pecor II of Stamford, VT. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, one great-grandniece, one great-grandnephew and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father Wesley E. Pecor.
