Sandra Diamond, 72

STEPHENTOWN, N.Y. —  

Mrs. Sandra A. (Wroblewski) Diamond, 72, of Stephentown, NY, formerly of Adams, died on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in Adams on July 8, 1948, a daughter of Celia (Zieminski) Wroblewski and the late Thaddeus Wroblewski. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Mrs. Diamond last worked as a Peer Specialist for the Brien Center in Pittsfield, until her retirement in 2018. Earlier she had worked as a cosmetologist at the Clip Shop. She enjoyed time with her family, baking special birthday cakes for them, and spending time with her beloved dog Lucy.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick W. Diamond, whom she married on August 20, 2014; two sons, Daniel J. Richard, his wife Wendy and son Daniel of Hanson, MA, David J. Carpenter and his wife Patricia of Cheshire; and a daughter, Amy M. Hughes, her husband Greg and their sons William and Henry of East Freetown, MA; two sisters, Linda Blake and her husband Martin of Lenox, Nancy Hall and her husband Patrick of Monterey, MA; a brother Robert Wroblewski and his wife Deborah of Cheshire; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Frederick Wroblewski.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
