Barbara Begiebing,83

 

Barbara Ann (Scott) Begiebing, 83, of Jacksonville, VT. and formerly of Clarksburg, MA., passed away on June 13, 2021 at Williamstown Commons. She was born in North Adams on August 1, 1937 a daughter of Walter Scott and Jennie Evelyn (Harmon) Thompson

Barbara attended schools in North Adams and was graduated from Drury High School. She was employed as a Ward Secretary and Nurses Aide at North Adams Regional Hospital for many years. was a former member of the First Baptist Church of North Adams and when she moved to Vermont she was an active member of Jacksonville First Baptist Church.

Barbara was very talented with her love of sewing, crocheting and doing arts and crafts. She also was dedicated to her church with her volunteering.

Barbara was joined in marriage to her loving husband Emil F. Begiebing, Jr. on September 8, 1956, he died August 3, 2014. Barbara and Emil were blessed with four sons, Daniel Begiebing (Kimberly) of Plattsburg, NY, Frederick Begiebing (Debbie) North Pownal, VT, Edward Begiebing of Manchester, NH and David Begiebing (Lori) of Kentucky. She also leaves a sister, Hope Lee Cudeeback of Texas and two brothers, Frederick T. Thompson of North Adams, MA and Gary L. Thompson of Williamstown, MA. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. was predeceased by her granddaughter Angelia Begiebing.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday June 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. A Calling Hour is from 12PM to 1PM. Burial will take place in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. Services will be live streamed on Flynn Dagnoli Facebook.
