Timothy Hamilton, 63

Timothy Allen Hamilton, 63, of Williamstown passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Akron, Ohio on August 14, 1957 a son of Robert Spencer Hamilton and the late Carolyn Curtis Hamilton.

 

Timothy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Ohio State University (Columbus) and then a Master's degree in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin (Madison). He had an extensive theatrical career in New York City culminating in several years at the Metropolitan Opera.

 

In 2000, Timothy became the Innkeeper at the House on Main Street B&B in Williamstown. His warm, easy-going spirit and quick wit have been enjoyed by guests from all over the world.

 

Timothy is survived by his wife, Donna Lynn Riley; father Robert Spencer Hamilton; brother Jeffrey Curtis Hamilton, and his nieces and nephews including Kristen Eley, Sean Hamilton and Colleen Prenosil. Timothy was predeceased by a brother Mark Thomas Hamilton.

 

FUNERAL NOTICE: A service to celebrate the life of Timothy Hamilton will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 4:00 PM at The House on Main Street B&B, 1120 Main Street, Williamstown, MA 01267. It broke my heart to read about Tim's passing. Tim and I would occasionally go to the movies together. We both enjoyed the Lego Batman movie. My condolences to his wife and family. He was a great guy and I will miss him.
