CHESHIRE, Mass. —  

Catherine Mary Vance, 88, of Cheshire passed away August 9, 2021 at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Margaret Hurt Theurer.

She attended schools in New York State.

She married William R. Vance on April 5, 1951 in New York. He predeceased her on July 12, 1999.

Mrs. Vance was employed as a clerk for H.D. Reynolds General Store in Cheshire for many years.

She enjoyed spending time at the Cheshire Senior Center, knitting and enjoyed dining out.

She leaves no immediate family, but leaves her dear close friends, John and Elaine Daniels of Cheshire and their families, as well as her care givers, Jackie, Linda, Cathy, Marina, and Amy.

Funeral Notice: Graveside services for Catherine Vance will be held, Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Cheshire Cemetery, with Rev. William Furey officiating.
