NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Trista Renee (LaFrance) Bliss, 50, of North Adams, died Thursday evening, August 12, 2021, with family by her side. She was born in North Adams on November 12, 1970, a daughter of Raymond E. LaFrance, Jr. and Lynda M (Adams) LaFrance Sherman. She attended schools in Savoy and Adams, and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the Class of 1988. She then graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at C.H. McCann Technical High School in 1989. Trista worked as a Dental Assistant for several area dentists. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and NASCAR racing. She is survived by her parents, Raymond E. LaFrance, Jr. of Herman, Nebraska; and Lynda M. Sherman of North Adams; four daughters, Kellie Bliss of Adams, Haley Brown of North Adams, Marley Brown of Adams, and Emily Belanger of North Adams; a brother, James S. LaFrance and his wife, Sandy, of Savoy; a sister, Jennifer Risch and her husband, Scott, of North Adams; three grandchildren, Zaiden Forrest, Colton Sweet and Adaline Lemieux; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara LaFrance, in 2007; her paternal grandparents, Raymond E. LaFrance, Sr. and Ruth (Dupee) LaFrance, and her maternal grandparents, David D. Adams, Sr. and Veronica (Tomkiewicz) Adams, and several aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, from 5 to 7 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. It is requested that face masks be worn inside the building. Funeral services and burial will be private.
