Theresa H. Robert, 77, formerly of 59 Park St. died Monday at Williamstown Commons Health Care Center in Williamstown. Born in St. Leon, Canada, on Nov. 6, 1924, daughter of Fortuna and Rose Alma Paradise Gagne, she attended schools there. At age 23, she came to North Adams and was employed as an assembler by the former Cornish Wire Co. in Williamstown for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982. Mrs. Robert was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Her husband, Lucien J. Robert, whom she married April 2, 1948, died May 4, 1988. She leaves three sons, Thomas J. Robert of Williamsburg, Va., Mark L. Robert of Hampton, Va., and Richard J. Robert of Adams; a daughter, Helen Williams of Adams; a sister, Irene Robert of Adams; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Albert Gagne, Girard Gagne and Rene Gagne. The funeral will take place Thursday, Jan. 24, at 9 a.m. from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7.
