George Edward Mullen, age 86 of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away, Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Born November 20, 1935, in Boston, Mass, he was the son of the late George and Mary Mullen. Mr. Mullen was a US Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Civil Air Patrol.  He was a retired electrical draftsman.  Mr. Mullen was a true outdoorsman as he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing as well as bowling and reading a good book.

Surviving is his wife, Shirley Mullen; son, Mark Mullen; daughter, Michelle Morrissey, and husband John; grandchildren, Sean and Maegan Morrissey and Jenna Covel; sister, Mary Ann Mullen and brother, James Mullen, and wife Pat.

Memorial services will be 11:00, Friday, August 6, 2021, at Cremation Services Direct, Hwy 707, Myrtle Beach.
