Jennifer L. Conroy, 49

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jennifer Lynn Conroy, 49, of Doylestown, Ohio and formerly of North Adams, MA, passed away on August 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jennifer was born on February 20, 1973. She was the daughter of Ann Mahar Conroy and the late Ted Conroy. She graduated in 1991 from Drury High School. Jennifer worked as a CNA at Sweetbrook Nursing Home in Williamstown and was a long time child care worker for KinderCare Learning Center in Ohio.
She touched many children’s lives by her warm caring ways. Jennifer’s son Cooper was the light of her life, and she was his biggest supporter on and off the field. She loved cheering him on in all his sport endeavors, recently as a pitcher for Malone University. She loved to spend time with family, read the current best sellers, shopping at her favorite store Target, collecting stationery items and creating a beautiful home.
Jennifer will be deeply missed by her son Cooper Davies, who lovingly called her “Mama”, his dad and her lifelong partner and soul mate, Matthew Davies, her mom, Ann Conroy, her sisters, Patricia (Bruce) Conroy-Shepley, Lynn (Steve) DeSanty, her brothers, T.J. (Catherine) Conroy and Tim (Michele) Conroy. Her aunts, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, and friends that were like family to her. In addition to her dad, Ted, she was predeceased by her grandparents Walt and Millie Conroy and Ray and Betty Mahar and her uncles, Ray Mahar, Jr. and Bob McConnell.
Funeral Notice: Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 28 from 2-5 p.m. at Flynn&Dagnoli Funeral Home West Chapel, West Main St., North Adams. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Monday August 29, at Pope John Paul II Church in Adams with burial to follow at the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Jennifer’s family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and therapists at Summa Hospital, Akron, Ohio for their compassionate care they provided to our Jennifer. In light of this very tragic and unexpected passing of our Jennifer, we request all donations be made in memory of Jennifer to her son Cooper’s College Fund.
