BENNINGTON, Vt. —  Brian Michael Allard 70, of Bennington, VT. died suddenly on Saturday December 24, 2022 at BMC North. He was born in North Adams on August 21, 1952 a son of Harvey Allard and Ruth (Law) Allard Lane. Brian graduated from Drury High School, University of Massachusetts and North Adams State College, he obtained his master’s degree in education and a certificate of advanced graduate studies.

Brian was a longtime educator, teaching at Hoosac Valley High School in Adams for six years he then taught in Bermuda and on an Indian Reservation. He was last employed as a special education teacher at Mount Anthony Union High School for the last 22 years. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams and enjoyed traveling throughout New England and biking.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann (Jaeger) Allard whom he married September 17, 1994, brother Robert Allard of North Adams, brother-in-law John Jaeger (Michele), niece Meghan Jaeger, nephew James Jaeger (Caitlin) and grandnephew Jackson Jaeger. He also leaves several cousins.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Brian Allard will take place Friday January 6, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA.
