Thomas J. McDarby Sr., 51, of 8583 Nightingale Road, Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Lee, died Tuesday at home. Born in Pittsfield on April 22, 1949, son of Margaret O'Brien McDarby of Lee and the late John M. McDarby Sr, he was a graduate of St. Mary's School and a 1967 graduate of Lee High School. Mr. McDarby served with the Army during the Vietnam War. After the service, he returned to Lee, where he worked as a draftsman at the Clark Aiken Co. In the early 1970s, he was appointed golf pro at Greenock Country Club in Lee. In 1995, he moved to Florida. Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Antonette L. Bagnaschi of Lee; two sons, Thomas J. McDarby Jr. and Corey M. McDarby, both of Lee; a daughter, Erina L. McDarby of Lee; a brother, John M. McDarby Jr. of Lee; two sisters, Margaret M. Palmer of Tyringham and Catherine H. Salice of Lee, and a grandson. A memorial service for Thomas J. McDarby Sr. will be held Monday morning, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Lee.
