Robert "Bob" Blair, 81

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Robert “Bob” Victor Blair, 81, of Adams, passed peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2023, at his home.
He was born in Adams on November 14, 1941, son of the late Victor and Annette (Fortin) Blair. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.
Mr. Blair worked as a pin setter at Valley Park Lanes in North Adams, then as a welder and dispatcher for the former Beloit Jones Co., Dalton until his retirement.
While Bob never had any formal training he was a carpenter, electrician, plumber, mason and inventor. He built his life around his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice Lynn Blair and her husband John Schafferick of Adams; his son David R. Blair and his wife June of Bloomington, IN; two sisters, Jeanne Blair-Turner of Washington and Judy Blair of Adams; three grandchildren, Garret Wood and Mason and Morgan Cranmer; three great grandchildren, Leyah Brown and Brady and Collin Wood; his former wife, the former Jonna Kloster and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Blair who died in infancy.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 9th from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.
Burial will be at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery.
