Laura Taylor, 63

Laura (Clerc) Taylor, age 63, of Adams, passed away March 24, 2023 at the Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.

Born in Glens Falls, NY, Laura was a daughter of the late Robert Charles Clerc and Gene Harvey Clerc. She was a 1977 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School and spent much of her adult life working as a bookkeeper. She first worked for Stanley Lumber for many years and later at Shakespeare & Company for at least 10 years.

Laura was a hard worker and found comfort in her time at home. She enjoyed opening her home to countless family cookouts and bonfires over the years and she will be remembered for her laugh and great sense of humor. One of the best things about Laura was that you never had to question where you stood with her.

Laura is survived by her husband of 25 years, Norman W. Taylor, Jr. whom she married on August 23, 1997.

In addition to Norm, Laura is survived by their son, Bradley Robert Beddome of Port St. Lucie, FL, 2 grandsons, Anthony Bradley Beddome and Bradley Ralph Beddome, as well as their mother Nicole. She also leaves her step-daughter, Morgan Taylor (Michaela) of Las Vegas, NV, her brother Stephen C. Conlon (Patricia) of Savoy, her sisters-in-law, Nancy Taylor of Lanesborough, Tina VanLuling (Peter) of Williamstown, Joanne Froio (Mark) of Lanesborough, and Susan "Grace" Walter (Douglas) of Windsor, her mother-in-law Julia Taylor of Lanesborough and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams on MONDAY, April 3, 2023 at 10AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Laura's memory may be made payable to: "Elder Services’ Meals on Wheels Program" and mailed to the Devanny-Condron Funeral Home at 40 Maplewood Ave. Pittsfield, MA 01201.

I will always remember everything you taught me. And told me. I will never ever forget how you and norm were there for me and your beautiful grand babies. I will miss our everyday early morning cigarette conversations that would last way too long about absolutely nothing. Just us laughing most of the time. We did start off on a really rocky foot some 16 years ago. You know you will always and forever be. My mother and I you and Norma daughter. You know I promised you if you ever weren’t here to check on norm and kick his ass if he was out of line. That was one of my favorite conversations we had. I just hate that you are gone. I will for the rest of my life think of you, talk to you and most importantly kiss both your boys for you as I have been doing all through this. You better wait for me up there and can’t wait to give you the biggest hug and kiss when I see you. I will love and miss you Forever Ma. Like you said turns out you and I were the two peas in a pod.
