Cynthia King, 71

 

 

Cynthia Jean (Camadine) King, 71, of North Adams, MA died Thursday May 17, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in North Adams on December 30, 1951 a daughter of John and Hazel (Gregory) Camadine. Cynthia attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School, she also attended Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield.

She was employed for many years as a devoted caseworker of the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance in North Adams and Pittsfield.

Cynthia was an avid golfer; she enjoyed participating in the women's leagues at Wabeecka Golf Links in Williamstown, and golfing with her husband on Sundays. Cynthia's passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and would not dream of missing any of their activities, special occasions and family holidays.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years Wayne A. King, whom she married February 10, 1973, two loving sons Robert W. King and his wife Erin of Feeding Hills, MA., Gregory L. King and his partner Erin Bajnoci of Leverett, MA. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren Cameron King, Peyton King, Gregory King Jr. Lyla King, and Jack Bajnoci, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Kathleen Donato and brother John Camadine.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Cynthia King will take place Wednesday May 24, 2023 at 11:00 A.M at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling Hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home are Wednesday from 9-11 A.M.
