George B. Robinson, Jr.

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Geroge B. Robinson, Jr. 80, of Adams, died peacefully on Saturday March 2, 2024, at Williamstown Commons.

He was born in Adams on April 11, 1943, son of the late George B and Jesse (Martin) Robinson Sr. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.
George worked at the former Arnold Print Works, and as a transformer at the former General Electric in Pittsfield for 30 years.

He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. He also served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard in Adams. He was also a member of the Maple Civic Club. In his early years he was involved in amateur boxing, lightweight division winning many matches.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially birthdays and during the holidays. He also enjoyed attending his daughters and grandchildrens’ activities and sporting events over the years, especially Grandparents Day and soccer and basketball games. George enjoyed watching football and was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots. From time to time he enjoyed making small wagers with family members during playoff games to make watching more interesting.

He is survived by his beloved wife AnnMarie (Wisniowski) Robinson, whom he married on May 7, 1966; three daughters, Paula Kulpa and her husband Steve of Cheshire, CT; Kristina Kordana and her husband James of Pittsfield, Suzi Fiore and her husband Christopher of Southington, CT, three grandchildren, Emily Kulpa, and her husband Peter Barston, Maggie Kulpa and Kaleb Robinson Fiore; three sisters, Marjorie Horn, Barbara Murphy and Kathleen Noel, brother in law and friend, Thomas Rotolo and by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-laws, Harry Horn and Joseph Murphy.
