Evelyn Maslak, 88, of 20 Turners Ave. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Adams on Dec. 19, 1913, daughter of John and Amy Friese Fortier, she graduated from the former Notre Dame Elementary School. Mrs. Maslak was employed by the former Adams Super Markets as a clerk for 30 years, retiring in 1970. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame Des Sept Douleurs and St. Thomas Aquinas. She leaves a son, Robert Maslak of Adams; a brother, John E. Fortier of Adams, and three sisters, Ruth Hoellerich of Chatham, N.Y., Meta Gebreowski of Naples, Fla., and Norma Klien of Adams. The funeral will take place Thursday, Feb. 21, at 8 a.m. from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME in Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Notre Dame Church in Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours.
