Erin Elizabeth Tresp, 21, formerly of Berkshire Heights Road, died Wednesday morning at her apartment in Keene, N.H. Born in Great Barrington on June 23, 1980, daughter of Dr. Dennis F. Tresp and Janice Peterson Tresp of Sheffield, she attended local schools and graduated in 1998 from Monument Mountain Regional High School, where she was a member of the cross country and tennis teams. At the time of her death, Ms. Tresp was a junior at Keene (N.H.) State College, where she was studying psychology. Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, Crispin Tresp of Suisun City, Calif., and Casey Tresp, a senior at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; her maternal grandmother, Dolores Peterson of Sheboygan, Wis., and her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Tresp of Sheboygan. She died in her sleep at her apartment in Keene, N.H. She also is survived by her loving boyfriend, Axel Bolton of Wilton, N.H., several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her "special princess," Corky. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 11 at St. James' Episcopal Church in Great Barrington by the Rev. Jennings Matheson. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington. The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 25, from 3 until 7 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington.
