Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

It was no surprise that Heaven welcomed an angel on Christmas Day. I had the pleasure of working with Flo at the Adams Co-op Bank in the early 80's. I will always remember the many elderly customers waiting in Flo's teller line to be greeted by her warm and bright smile. On many occasions I would hear Flo speaking polish to her special customers as they responded with such delight! She was truly blessed with a wonderful family that she spoke of so often. I am sure she and her beloved Tony have played a few rounds of golf by now! Rest in peace dear Flo.

When I got married in 1983 and moved to North Adams, I was hired by Mr. Wagenknecht the President of the the ACB in Adams. I remember Mr. Wagenknecht introduced me to Flo and said, "She's the best on the teller line." And she was. She came to work everyday with a smile and you could tell how much she was loved by the Adams community.
She was my mentor and friend. My heart was so happy to see that Flo continued to golph and do other things she loved into her 90's. My heartfelt sympathy to all of her family.

Dear Nancy & all Mrs. Romaniak’s family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. While I knew her from my daughter’s Kline family gatherings on Grant St., I’ve heard so much more about her since I moved to her home & her neighbor hood. She was so admired and appreciated. I am honored to now live in the house she & her husband built & that she maintained so beautifully. What a very full & productive life she led!

Flo was the kindest most caring person I know. As a bank teller, she was efficient but cared for each customer as though they were a family member. Always out walking and greeting everyone with her special smile. Rest in peace Flo.
