Cheryll A. McLaren, 75

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Cheryll A. (Guerin) McLaren, 75, of Adams, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in Adams on May 17, 1949, daughter of the late S. Isadore and Helen (Rys) Guerin. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams.
Mrs. McLaren was primarily a homemaker for her family and had worked as a medical assistant, returning to work in retail when her children entered school. She put her heart into everything from cooking to creating homemade halloween costumes. She had a great love for the holidays and giving to others, but most of all loved spending time with family.
She was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams.
Her husband, James T. McLaren, whom she married on August 2, 1985, died on August 26, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Ross McLaren and his partner Ally of North Adams; three daughters, Caitlin Krutiak and her husband Rick of Savoy, Jaime Potter and her husband Morgan of Middleboro and Kelley Patryn; her brother Donald Guerin and his companion Dorothy Twardowski of Adams; two sisters, Noella Benvenuti and her husband Roger of Corona, CA and Deborah Langner and her husband Arthur of Adams; five grandchildren, Maia, Kylie, Joey, Jacob and Ruth and by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Marlene Guerin.
The family would like to thank Hospice Care in the Berkshires, Pop Cares and all of the home health aides and nurses that helped Cheryll along the way.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 1:00 P.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Calling hours are Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held in the spring.
