Bernard L. Malloy, 76

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Bernard L. Malloy, 76, of Adams, died on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Albany Medical Center.

He was born in Adams on November 21, 1948, a son of the late Louis and Mary (Gardner) Malloy. He attended Notre Dame School in Adams.

Mr. Malloy worked for many years as a mechanic for the former Pfizer Co., Adams, and then Specialty Minerals until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, the former Diana M. Felix, whom he married on January 14, 1967; two sons, Bernard Malloy, Jr. and his wife Paula of North Adams and David Malloy of Adams; one brother Ronald Malloy; one sister Rose Schafferick; two grandchildren, Colby Malloy and Stefan Christian; two great grandchildren, Rowen and Jake and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by eight brothers and two sisters.

Per Mr. Malloy’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

I was so sad when I heard that Bernie passed away. ? I was just talking to him about a week before he passed. This is such sad news. He was a great guy and he was always laughing. He will be missed. My heart goes out to you Diane, David and Bernie. May he now rest in peace.
