F. Russell Lyons II

F. Russell Lyons II, 75, of School Street, Ashley Falls, died Feb. 18 at home. Born in New York City on June 23, 1926, son of F. Russell Lyons and Murray Celeste Bartlett Lyons, he attended schools there and graduated from Williams College in the early 1950s. He had resided at Fox Hollow in Falls Village, Conn., for many years. Mr. Lyons and his partner, Dale Pentland, operated an antiques shop in New Preston, Conn., for many years and, during the 1960s and '70s, operated an antiques shop on Bleeker Street in New York City. He previously had worked in overseas banking and as an administrator for the city of New York. He enjoyed traveling, especially his shopping trips to France, where he acquired many of his antiques and visited many gardens. He also enjoyed history, the arts and literature. He leaves a son, F. Russell Lyons III of Seattle.
