Wilfred C. Harrison, 91

CHESHIRE, Mass. —  Mr. Wilfred C. Harrison, 91, of Cheshire, died on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in Adams on September 1, 1933, a son of the late Wilfred and Florence (Wolfrum) Harrison. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School with the class of 1952.

Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served with the United States Marine Corps, until receiving his honorable discharge as Corporal in 1955.

Mr. Harrison worked as an engineer in the Naval Ordnance division of General Electric Company, Pittsfield until retiring.

He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire and had been a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams. He was a member of the Adams Post 160 American Legion, the North Adams Lodge of Elks and the Mountain Club in Adams. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling at the Adams Turn Hall.

He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Randall and her husband Bruce of Adams; his sister, Barbara Harrison of Clarksburg; his granddaughter Samantha Randall; his sister-in-law Debbie Harrison and by three nephews and a niece.

He was predeceased by his former wife, Patricia (Carpenter) Harrison, by his brother Richard Harrison and by his sister Elizabeth Allard and her husband Bernard.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family. There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the Adams Post 160 American Legion, 160 Forrest Park Ave., Adams, MA 01220 or to the Hoosac Hose Company, 191 Church St., Cheshire, MA 01225.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
