Mildred Ferlet, 98

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Mildred (Tanguay) Ferlet, 98, of Adams, died Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2025 at her home. She was born in Adams on February 20, 1927 a daughter of the late Wilfred and Veronica (Stefanik) Tanguay and attended Adams schools.

Mildred worked for the former General Cable Corp. in Williamstown for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. She enjoyed coloring and reading.

Her husband, Emil “Moe” Ferlet, whom she married on June 12, 1953, died on June 8, 2008.

She is survived by a son, Paul A. Ferlet of Adams, a sister, Patricia Pozza of Adams, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. She was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and Robert Tanguay, and by three sisters- Shirley Biros, Arlene Bushaw and Carol Blair.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 10:30 AM in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 South St. Pittsfield, MA 01201. The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
