Martin S. Koscielniak, 81

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Martin S. Koscielniak (Marty) of North Adams went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan 30, 2025, following a brief illness.

Marty was born in Adams on Feb. 11, 1943 to Martin F. and Dorothy Koscielniak who predeceased him.

He attended schools in Adams, graduating in 1962 from Adams Memorial High School.

He was employed as a CNA by NARH for 38 years.

Marty is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hilda. his daughter Beth, son Eric and son-in-law Kevin. He also leaves three sisters: Lois Christman, Arlyne Cornelsen and Jean Powers, his brother-in-law Joseph Powers as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marty was a humble man who loved the Lord and his family fiercely. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Life for Martin S. Koscielniak will be held on June 7th 2025 at 10:00AM at the Stamford Community Church, 1559 Main Road, Stamford Vt.

Marty—. Everyone knew and loved Marty. He certainly was one of the “fixtures and good guys” of the original NARH. Marty you helped sooooo many people. You will have a special place in heaven.

Hilda and family,
