John H. Senecal, 83

ADAMS, Mass. — John Henry "Boss" Senecal, 83, has gone to the great barroom in the sky after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
John was born to Evelina and Bernard Senecal on Feb. 11, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna "Chuch" Senecal; his daughters Gloria Potter, Bonnie Maxwell and Danielle Senecal; his son, James Senecal; his brothers George and William Senecal; brother-in-law, Conrad Sidway, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jean Rynkowski.
John attended high school in Adams until being drafted into the Army to serve in Vietnam. He followed in his father's footsteps and worked as a lineman for the former Massachusetts Electric until his retirement. Over the course of many years as a successful bar owner, many strong and lasting friendships were made. John enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping.
The Boss is currently looking down on us, smoking a L+M and having a "High Test" while firing all the staff at Chick's Lunch. This will be followed by a couple Budweisers at Russell Field, watching his beloved softball team. After a trip to Lake Ontario to catch some salmon, "Animal" may participate in a couple bar bar-clearing brawls to relax before the weekend ends.
There will be a private graveside service for the family. Thanks from the family go to the BMC nursing staff, doctors and Hospice workers for their excellent care.
Rest in peace, Boss.
