Martha Taliaferro, 69

PITTSFIELD, Mass. —  

Martha Jean Taliaferro, 69 of Pittsfield, passed away August 6, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on January 26, 1956 to Naylor and Florence Board Taliaferro.

She was educated in Pittsfield schools and received her bachelor’s degree from Lowell University

Ms. Taliaferro was employed by Blue-Q in quality control.

She is survived by four brothers, Freddie, Ernie, Robert, and Dennis Taliaferro and two sisters, Edith King and Estelle Jones. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister's Doris Morrison and Florence Evans and brother Naylor Taliaferro.

Funeral Notice: Graveside services will be held, Friday, August 29, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery in the West Fountain Lawn Section. Dery Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Aunt Martha had the best 1960'scomic book collection dhr keot in a soecial drawer. From iron man,. Fantastic four, archie & uncle scrooge that I read voraciously!, I am so glad I shared that xperience with her I learned a lot about life life by reading those comics., rip dear aunt martha.
