James Romeo Rupprecht, 65

ADAMS, Mass. — James Romeo Rupprecht, 65 of Adams, MA died on Sunday September 21, 2025 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in North Adams, MA on December 13, 1959, a son of the late Robert A. Rupprecht and Elaine (Gravel) Rupprecht Dodge. He was educated in Adams schools and graduated from Hoosac Valley Regional High School with the class of 1977.
Jim served in the US Navy until his honorable discharge. He was last employed by the Brien Center working as a crisis worker at the Pomeroy House. Jim was a member of the Bennington Church of Christ. Jim enjoyed fishing, building wooden models, jigsaw puzzles and working on cars. He especially enjoyed walking in the woods mushrooming. Jim was loved by many people and always gave a helping hand whenever anyone needed it.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Kent Rupprecht whom he married on September 7, 1991 and one son, James Michael Rupprecht of North Adams, MA. He also leaves two sisters, Monique Fredline of Laporte, IN and Laurie (Ken) Margison of Pittsfield, MA; a stepbrother, Kevin Rousseau and a stepsister, Rebecca Laflamme; his mother in law, Mary Ann Gruszecki of Adams, MA; two sisters in law, Patricia Hebert Rupprecht of Florida and Melissa Kent of Hackensack, NJ and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his mother and father, he was predeceased by his sister, Nannette Gould; his brother, Michael Rupprecht and his stepbrother, Terry Rousseau.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for James Rupprecht will be at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA on Monday October 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bennington Church of Christ, 524 South St. Bennington, VT.
