Robert “Bob” Allen Felix, 77, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, surrounded by his family at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on June 14, 1948, Bob was the son of the late Raymond and Catherine E. (King) Felix. A highly skilled mason, Bob was known throughout the region for his exceptional brick and stonework. Over the years, he contributed to numerous large-scale projects, working with several masonry companies before retiring in 2009.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and was especially passionate about bass fishing. He was a proud member of multiple bass fishing clubs and competed in tournaments across several states.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Senecal) Felix; daughters Shelley O’Dowd and Jessica Floyd; and stepsons John (Buffy), Jeffrey (Bonnie), and Jason (Dina) Crosier. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Molly and Cody O’Dowd; Rylee Joy, Joshua (Alainna), and Madelyn Floyd; Samantha (Nevin) Benjamin; Elizabeth (Ryan) Joppich; Kody (Hali) Crosier; Cassandra Crosier; and Jamie Crosier; as well as seven cherished great-granddaughters.
Bob was predeceased by his son, Bryan Felix; grandson, Kyle Crosier; sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Ronald Ross; and brother, Raymond Felix Jr.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services or celebration of life. He expressed deep gratitude to all who visited him both at home and during his time at the nursing home. Bob asked that you remember him when you’re out fishing or driving by a local lake.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Evergreen Ward at Williamstown Commons and to Hospice for their exceptional and compassionate care.
A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Bob’s memory.
