Gary M. Koehler, 71

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Gary Michael Koehler, 71 of Adams, MA, died unexpectedly on Sept. 26, 2025.

Gary was born on Jan. 3, 1954, to Margret (Lenhardt) Koehler & Arthur H. Koehler. He attended Adams schools and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the Class of 1972.

Upon graduation Gary served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Adams Super Markets, Sweet Life Foods, Big Y and Walmart before retirement. He enjoyed watching the Patriots & Red Sox and gathering with his friends at the American Legion or the Mountain Club in Adams.

Gary is survived by a daughter, Nicole (Kris) Sears of West Suffield, CT & a son, Joseph Koehler of Farmington, CT. He also leaves one brother, James (Karen) Koehler of Adams, a sister Cynthia (James) Farrell of Lee, NH and nephews Michael Koehler and John and Patrick Farrell. Gary also leaves behind his longtime friend, Connie Blanchette, of Adams.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at 1:00 P.M. at the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be the following day, Wednesday, October 8th at 9:00 A.M. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made through the funeral home to the Berkshire Veterans Outreach Center, Allendale Underground, 5 Cheshire Rd., Suite 128, Pittsfield, MA, 01201.

Sending my deepest condolences. I will always be grateful to him for being so kind to me when my husband passed. I have known him from the sixth grade.
