Kathleen Wilton, 84

ADAMS, Mass. —  Kathleen A. (Powers) Wilton, 84, of Adams, died on Friday, October 17, 2025, at North Adams Commons.

She was born in Adams on September 10, 1941, a daughter of the late John and Alice (Fortier) Powers. She attended schools in Adams.

Kathy was a waitress for many years at the Williams Inn, the former Orchards and the former River House. She also worked as a hairdresser in her younger years.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Wilton of Hawaii and Carrie Wilton of Adams; her granddaughter, Miranda Wilton of Adams; her brother Michael Powers of Adams; her sister Eileen Banas of Adams; two great grandchildren, Remmington Wilton and Layla Bigelow and by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Alibozek and by her brother Richard Powers.

Per Kathleen’s wishes, there are no funeral services.

Memorial donations may be made to the North Adams Commons Patient Activities, 175 Franklin St., North Adams, MA 01247.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

It was sad to read about the passing of Kathy. I worked with her for many years at the Williams Inn. I did lose contact with her after we both left the Inn. May good memories get Kathy through these difficult times. Rest in peace Kathy.

worked at the River House with Kathy. It was the best job I ever had. Such a fun group. Although I haven’t seen Kathy in years, I think back and just smile. She sure loved her Yugo!
