Paulette Remillard, 76

Paulette Anne (Gagne) Remillard, 76, of North Adams passed away peacefully on Friday October 31, 2025. She was born in Adams, MA on August 29, 1949, a daughter of the late Everett F. & Lucille M. (Trottier) Gagne.

Paulette attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School. Paulette received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Adams State College. Paulette then went on to earn her master’s in business administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMASS Amherst. She worked for H&R Block and Gajda, Marlow & Company before opening her own CPA business. Paulette also embarked on a journey of giving back and fostering the minds of undergraduate and graduate level students. She served as a professor at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts for many years.

Paulette enjoyed music, gardening, traveling to the ocean and spending time with her North Adams Elks family, where she had served as a past Exalted Ruler. She was a member of the Berkshire Professional Women’s League and a host of other professional associations recognizing her commendable achievements and successes.

Paulette leaves her children, Kimberly Stone (Jeffrey) and Kevin Remillard. She also leaves her brother, Steven Gagne (Dianne), her grandchildren, her companion Andrew Abolafia, and other close family and friends. She was predeceased in death by her brothers, Michael Gagne and Alan Gagne.

 

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Paulette Remillard will be on Friday November 7, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli -WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will be from 4:00 – 5:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Adams Elks Scholarship Fund, 100 Eagle St, North Adams, MA 01247.
