Corey D. Clark, 43

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mr. Corey D. Clark, 43, of Adams, died on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at his home.

He was born in North Adams on April 23, 1982, a son of Melinda (Millis) Horn and David Clark and stepparents Peter Horn and Stephanie Clark. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the class of 2001.

At the time of his death, Corey was working for Adams Trucking & Excavation.

Corey’s greatest joy was his family. His three-year old daughter, Ava, was the center of his world- his partner in chasing trains, building sandcastles on wells beach and having sleepovers on the living room floor. Corey and his wife, Amy, often said they had waited their whole lives to find each other and everything was always ok as long as they were together. To know Corey was to love him; he was already on the road to help before the phone call ended and his heart was full when giving to others or spending time with his parents and siblings. His passing leaves a hole that cannot be filled but his spirit lives on in Ava's beautiful eyes and in the stories that will continue to be shared.

Corey was also an active and proud member in his narcotics anonymous community. He never missed his Wednesday night meeting and gave hope and guidance to so many walking the same path.

Besides his parents and stepparents, he is survived by his wife, the former Amy Slattery, whom he married on May 19, 2023; four children, Ava Clark, Kylie Slattery, Shaun Knysh and Dylan Clark-Slattery; two brothers, Christopher Clark of Adams and Colby Clark and his wife Kerry of Hollis, ME as well as two nephews and a niece.

He was predeceased by his sister Caitlin Clark who died on June 11, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Memorial donations may be made to Amy Clark for an education fund for Ava, 20 Newark St., Adams, MA 01220.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
