Carol A. Rolland, 81

ADAMS, Mass. —
Carol A. Rolland, 81, of Adams, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in Adams on January 29, 1944, daughter of the late Alfred and Gloria (George) Rolland. She attended schools in Adams and earned her associates degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
Carol worked as a chef for various hotels and restaurants in Berkshire County,
In her younger years she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and had been an avid basketball player. She loved taking trips to the casinos and visiting Maine and Florida.
She is survived by her son Timothy Szczepaniak and his wife Lori of Burnt Hills, NY; her sister, Barbara Halek of Adams; two brothers, David Rolland and his wife Anne of Greenwich, NY and Clark Rolland and his wife Patsy of Stuyvesant, NY; three grandchildren, Joey Szczepaniak, Lauren Szczepaniak (Jake Goslin) and Carly Szczepaniak (Dan Veley); her beloved dogs Annie and Kelly as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Thomas Szczepaniak.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
