Natalie Janet (Murchie) Martelle, 93 of Clarksburg died on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center. Natalie was born in Castleton, Vermont on October 23, 1932 a daughter of the late Winfield Murchie & Alice (Davis) Murchie. Natalie moved to North Adams as a child she attended schools in North Adams graduating from Drury High School. Natalie also attended the and the former Bliss Business College, New England School of Insurance along with classes in journalism. Natalie was an assessor for the town of Clarksburg from 1980 – 1986.

Natalie was employed with Century 21, Harol Dupee Sales Associate and Relocation Director for several years. She worked for Michael Deep Insurance Agency, Stevenson Insurance and Rinehard – Levine Insurance Agency. Natalie also was the Co – Owner of Crystal hard Hat Tavern, from 1988 -1999 and was a Broker/Owner for Martelle Brokers Real Estate Firm. She was the Past President of Clarksburg PTG and chair person of Clarksburg School Building Committee. Natallie was a reporter of Civic & Social Activities for North Adams Transcript. She was a past president of Briggsville Women’s Club and Publicity Officer of N.B & P.W. Organizations. She was also a girl scout leader and cub scout Leader. Natalie was an avid traveler, talented seamstress and crafter.

Natalie was predeceased by her husband Robert P. Martelle who died on July 23, 1999, they were married on October 28, 1950 in North Adams. She leaves her daughters, Linda Bombardier of North Adams, Carol McLean of Bennington, VT, Terry Baumann (George) of Cheshire, MA, and Laura Martelle of Clarksburg Williamstown. She also leaves two sons, Robert M. Martelle and Daniel P. Martelle (Vanessa) of North Adams as well as many several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Lee Martelle and son Jon D. Martelle as well as sisters, Nancy Bissaillon Bliss & Mary Gerry and brothers, John and Douglas Murchie.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Natalie will be on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.
