Brent D. Mille, 51

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Brent D. Mille, 51, of North Adams, died on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

He was born in North Adams on April 4, 1974, a son of the late Walter and Theresa (Kozak) Mille. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School with the class of 1994.

Brent was a longtime member of United Cerebral Palsy of Western Mass. He attended the BFAIR day program and lived in a BFAIR residence with his longtime friend Lisa as well as his roommates Betsy and Shaw.

Brent was an artist with Community Access to the Arts, having artwork featured in the Clark Art Museum. He enjoyed spending time with family, going to the movies, holidays, especially Christmas, bowling, games, watching professional wrestling and going to the casino. He enjoyed reading and collecting Dr. Seuss books as well as collecting Beanie Babies, Masters of the Universe action figures and rubber duckies.

He is survived by his brother Shawn Mille and his husband Travis of Pittsfield, his bonus sisters and his loving aunt and uncles, Nancy Kozak, Walter Kozak, Jr., and John Kozak.

Brent was capable of so much love and compassion and always loved being in the middle of any celebration.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 10:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

I am so saddened by this news! I met Brent when I worked as a paraprofessional at Hoosac Valley Middle School! He was a sweet and sensitive young man with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family and friends!
