Henry F. Gamari Jr. , 91

Longtime Stamford Vermont Resident.
Henry Francis Gamari Jr. 91 of North Adams and formerly of Stamford, VT. died Monday January 19, 2026 at North Adams Commons.
He was born in North Adams on January 25, 1934 a son of the late Henry Francis Gamari Sr. and Catherine (Dean) Gamari. Henry attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School. He was a decorated veteran serving with the United States Army as a Private First Class.
He was employed for 32 years as the foreman of the control lab at the Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, and he was last employed for 15 years as a rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.
Henry was a communicant of St. John Bosco Church in Stamford, and he was a longtime coach of local youth leagues in North Adams, Clarksburg and Stamford including basketball, baseball and the former Stamford-Clarksburg Tigers football team. Henry's greatest joy was the outdoors, raising his beagles and rabbit hunting, which he started at a young age with family and friends. He was a loyal and devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years Claire (Martin) Gamari, three sons Craig Gamari, Steven Gamari (Christine) and Kurt Gamari (Rebecca), grandchildren Corrie Ryan Dolle, Claire Ryan, Casey Ryan, Kelly Haskins, Katie Brassard, Kelsey Alibozek, J.J. Middleton, Joshua Gamari, Rebecca Randall, Jacob Coury, Steven Gamari, Nicole Waters, Renee Gamari, Matthew Gamari and Alana Dubie. He also leaves great grandchildren Connor Berard, Dylan St. Hilaire, Ashton Solomon, Makenna Dolle, Madison Dolle, Aiyanna Gamari, Alexis Gamari, Avery Marcel, Ryan Haskins, Everett Alibozek, Easton Alibozek, Adley Brassard, Rayden Brassard, Hayden Brassard, Anthony Gamari, Giovanni Gamari, Colton Randall, Carson Randall, Dayton Waters, Lilly Waters, Makayla Thomas, one great-greatgrandchild Giovanni Rodriguez and his sister Joan Wyman. He was predeceased by a son Henry Gamari who died in infancy, daughter Deborah Ann Middleton, granddaughter Jessica Coury and brother Robert Gamari.
Funeral services for Henry F. Gamari will take at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. on Saturday January 31, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at a later date.
