Karen Trottier Dunn, 84

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Trottier Dunn. Born December 7th, 1941, Karen left us on the 25th of January 2026, leaving a void in our family that can never be filled. We will always remember a life that was filled with her endless love and spitfire attitude.

Karen graduated from Drury High School & from Wilfred Academy of Hair & Beauty in Boston, MA. She worked in Robert’s Co until its closure, followed by Jarisch Paper Box Co & Friendly’s. Her most cherished role was as a loving mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed sewing and knitting beautiful creations, watching Hallmark movies, and collecting Boyd’s Bears. Her favorite moments were sharing dinner with her family, especially at Desperados and Misty Moonlight. She would do anything for her family and cherished every moment spent with those she loved.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather Bona (Jeff), and their daughters, Nicole McKona (Arin) and Mackenzie Bona (Miracle); and her son, Steven Dunn (Barbara), and their children, Neisa Lescarbeau, Joshua Perras, and Jennifer Perras. She also leaves behind her two lifelong friends, Peggy Slade and Karen Davis, as well as her beloved grand-pups, Oakley and Leo, and her grand-bunny, Cora.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Peg Trottier; her only brother, Kevin Trottier (Louise); and her two cherished kitties.

Karen was a fighter and survived her battle with cancer for nearly 10 years.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (450 Boston Ave, Boston, MA 02215). The family will be having a private burial in the Spring followed by a celebration of life TBA. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com

Sending our deepest sympathy to Karen’s family. We’ve known Karen since high school and spent many good times with her. In later years she attended the class of 1960 luncheons with many classmates until she became ill. Our memories with her will remain forever
