NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Keith Henry “Brooksy” Brooks  63, of North Adams died Thursday February 5, 2026 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in North Adams on February 21, 1962 a son of the late Robert Clarence Brooks and Sybil (Mahar) Brooks DeGray.  Keith attended schools in North Adams including Drury High School.

He was last employed at Babcock Timber Framing Company. Keith enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and being in the outdoors.

Survivors include his Life Partner Debra Grant with whom he made his home, children Mark Brooks of Pittsfield, Shannon Brooks of North Adams, grandchildren Kyle Brooks, Izaiah Brooks, Amyah Safford and siblings Kenneth Brooks of North Adams, Debra Righi (James) of Stamford, VT., Denise Dion (Robert) of Readsboro, Vt., and former wife Sandra Brooks.  Keith also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Alan “Brooksy” Brooks who died February 23, 2024.
