NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —

Robert Paul (Bobby) Cook, 73, of North Adams, MA passed away on October 28, 2025 at his home of natural causes.

He was born on March 26, 1952, the only child of Paul and Verna (Lapan) Cook. He grew up in Clarksburg, MA and attended local schools. He was predeceased by both his parents.

He worked throughout his life and in later years, after the closing of General Cable in Williamstown, he attended Berkshire Community College as well as Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

He was a talented musician and played music most of his life. He resided in Clarksburg most of his life, and in later years moved to North Adams. In his younger years, he was extremely close to his grandparents, Charles and Alma Cook, who predeceased him.

James and Elaine Pierce and their family of Clarksburg were exceptionally kind to Bobby throughout his life. He is survived by first cousins John (Mary) Cook, Gary Cook, and Linda (Jay) Gravel, all of Clarksburg, MA.

Burial services will take place in the spring at the Clarksburg Cemetery.
