NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Robert Edward Thomas, 69 of North Adams, MA died on Wednesday February 18, 2026 at North Adams Regional Hospital.

He was born in Los Angeles, CA on September 3, 1956, a son of the late Robert E. Thomas and Shirley Ann (Primmer) Thomas Norman. He attended Drury High School.

Robert was a veteran of the US Army. He worked at Mass MoCA for 19 years until his retirement. Robert enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed word-search puzzles.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Marie (Andrews) Thomas, whom he married on April 24, 1976 and one daughter, Cheri Thomas of North Adams and one son, Glenn Thomas of North Adams. He also leaves six grandchildren including Shyanna Aubin, Shawn Aubin, Savanna Aubin, Keith Thomas, Evan Thomas and Connor Wirrell; two great grandchildren, Noe Oldham and Nova Jackson; his brother, Clifton Thomas and nieces and nephews. His son, Keith Thoams died on February 5, 2021.
