James A. Kenyon, 76

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  James Alfred (Jim) Kenyon, 76 of North Adams went to be with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served with all his heart, on March 26, 2026 at his home. He was born in North Adams on August 20, 1949, a son of the late Alfred Richard & Alice M (Bolner) Kenyon.

James attended schools in Berlin, New York and then graduated from Drury High School. James was employed in the paper industry as a skilled machine technician at GL & V USA Inc. in Lenox, MA. He enjoyed classic cars and driving one every year in Motorama. He liked detailing cars, dining out, watching TV, working around the house, and, most of all, being with family and friends.

James leaves his beloved wife, Jane (Masson) Kenyon with whom he, just 6 days ago, celebrated 55 years of a loving, close, and strong marriage. He also leaves his beloved sons, Daniel Kenyon, and Michael Kenyon (Alicia) and beloved grandson Dean Kenyon, as well as a brother, Bruce Kenyon of South Carolina, a sister-in-law, Jeanette Sherman and brother-in-law Raymomd Masson. He was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Kenyon in 2000. James also leaves his best friend and pastor of 49 years, Bill Wilson and his wife, Jan.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for James Alfred Kenyon will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 1 pm at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247 with Pastor Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours will be from Tuesday March 31st from 11:00 AM until the service. To add to the book of memories please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com

Sorry for your loss, I worked with Jim for many years at Beloit and GL&V, He was a good friend and a very nice guy. Always you to see him and his wife at Walmart after he retired where we would catch up on things.
