NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Judith Anne (Harrington) Serre, 80, of North Adams, died on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in North Adams on July 13, 1945, daughter of the late James R. Harrington, Jr. and Catherine V. (McGinnis) Harrington. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1963.

Judy worked for many years as a stationary inspector for Excelsior Printing and Engraving in North Adams until retiring. Earlier, she had worked for the former Central Market in North Adams.

She enjoyed reading and playing bingo.

She is survived by her son, Steven Serre and his wife Carlota of Savoy; by her daughter, Jennifer Serre of North Adams; five grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Courtney, Kathleen and Coleson; six great grandchildren, Lillianna, Madisyn, Lucas, Leonidas, Maximus and Leighton as well as her nephew Jeffrey and her niece Lori and her husband Steve.

She was predeceased by her brother James R. Harrington, III.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 10th at 12:00 NOON in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
