Lily Kuzia, 96

Lily M. (Kleiner-Bush) Kuzia, 96, of Huntington Beach, Calif., passed through the gates of heaven to be with the Lord, November 5, 2025. Born August 10,1929, a daughter of Emil and Sarah (Sprague) Kleiner.

She attended schools in Adams. She proudly graduated from North Adams State College with a Bachelor of Science at the age of 61.Mrs, Kuzia worked at Sprague Electric Company in Human Resources for 45 years. She applied for and received a grant from the State, determined to build successfully The Clarksburg Senior Center. She was a member of The Clarksburg Board of Selectmen, Council on Aging and established the Clarksburg Senior Club. Earlier she held volunteer memberships and positions with Clarksburg Library, Northern Berkshire Community Action and Landmark Credit Union. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and collecting Santa's!

Married to the love of her life Raymond Kuzia of Clarksburg, August 19, 1978. She was formerly married to Roy Bush of Adams.

She leaves behind her daughter, Donna Gilbertson of California with whom she lived; son Gary (Janet) Bush of Michigan; son Alan (Joyce) Bush of Connecticut; and daughter Susan (Cliff) Matott of New Hampshire. Mrs. Kuzia was the last of 10 children. Besides her four children, she leaves 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in the family plot in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, MA. The Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. are in charge of arrangements.
