Walter was a great guy whom I always loved being around. We shared some fantastic times on the golf course and also driving vehicles for McAndrews King. I could listen to Walt tell stories of his adventures at his restaurants, on the golf course or his trips to Florida all day long. I will miss Walt very much and I wish him to rip. You were a great friend Walt!

I played poker with Walt a few times years ago.. We’d play in the back room at Le Jardin. Good tines. A true gentleman.

I met Walter at Blantyre Castle where he was head chef and he hired me as a dish washer.
As the owner and chef at Le Jardin he took so many people under his wing, including me, and taught us many things. Some of them were even about cooking.
Through Walter, I met a thousand people, touched a thousand lives, had a thousand adventures and made a million memories. I cherish them all. Thank you, Burke. You made the world a better place.

I could write a long long book about our relationship over the last 40 years, but I won’t. To put it in simple words. Walter was simply MY BEST FRIEND!!?

Walter was a friend of mine. We met at the poker tournaments that we played in throughout Berkshire County. He was a great player and I learned how to be a better player thanks to him. He would tell people that I knocked him out of several tournaments. I did not but it always made me feel happy that he was bragging about my poker prowess. He was the best story teller and just an overall great guy. He'll always be one of my favorites. I'm so lucky to have been his friend. I'll miss him.
