NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Timothy Michael Malloy, Sr., 68, of North Adams, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester after a brief illness.

He was born in Adams on December 29, 1957, son of Rose E. (Malloy) Schaffrick and stepson of Leroy Schaffrick, Sr. He attended Adams schools.

Tim worked for several local construction companies, including McNabb Construction and Kelly’s Lumber. He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He looked forward to going to the horse pulls. His favorite hobby was tinkering with tractors and small engines. He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Schaffrick of Cheshire; his sons Timothy Malloy, Jr. of North Adams and Michael Malloy of Cheshire; his brother Leroy Schaffrick, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Savoy; his sister Melissa Schaffrick of Adams; his five grandchildren, Michael, Jr. Melina and Marley Malloy and Timothy Malloy III and Brittany White; and by two nephews, Tyler and Mitchell Massaconi. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Leroy Schaffrick, Sr. and a nephew, Matthew Massaconi.

Calling hours are Friday, May 22nd from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams.

Funeral services will be private for the family.
