CLARKSBURG, Mass. —  Gloria Angelina (Ferrara) Anderson, 96 formerly of Clarksburg, MA died Tuesday May 26, 2026 at North Adams Commons.

She was born in North Adams, MA on August 7, 1929, a daughter of Salvatore Ferrara and Viginia (Sebastino) Ferrara. She attended local schools.

Gloria worked at Clark Biscuit Company, Gale Shoe Co and Sprague Electric. She was primarily a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

She was the widow of John Neil Anderson Jr who died on March 21, 2008. They were married on August 7, 1954. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Parker and one brother, Salvatore F. Ferrara of North Adams, MA. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers and three sisters including Catherine Giguere, Dolores Conti and Marian DeMastrie; Frank Ferrara, John Ferrara, Alfred Ferrara and Thomas Ferrara. Gloria’s family would like to thank the staff of the North Adams Commons for the wonderful care they provided during her time there.
